We’ve talked a lot about our love of AppleTV‘s alt-history space-race series “For All Mankind.” It’s one of those special projects that mixes so many of my personal passions- NASA, strong performances, even stronger writing- with a budget to boot. I cannot recommend it enough to fellow spacephiles who still get teary-eyed at launches.
The 5th season of the critically acclaimed series will hit in March, and we just got our first look at what’s to come!

Season five of “For All Mankind” picks up in the years since the Goldilocks asteroid heist. Happy Valley has grown into a thriving colony on Mars with thousands of residents, and a base for new missions that will take us even further into the solar system. But with the nations of Earth now demanding law and order on the Red Planet, friction continues to build between the people who live on Mars and their former home.
Returning cast for season five includes Joel Kinnaman, Toby Kebbell, Edi Gathegi, Cynthy Wu, Coral Peña and Wrenn Schmidt. They’ll be joined by new series regulars Mirelle Enos (“The Killing,” “Hanna”), Costa Ronin (“The Americans,” “Homeland”), Sean Kaufman (“The Summer I Turned Pretty”), Ruby Cruz (“Bottoms”), and Ines Asserson (“Royalteen”).

“For All Mankind” seasons 1-4 are available to stream on Apple TV now. (Still no word when spinoff prequel series “Star City” is expected.) Season 5 hits March 27th, 2026. Check out the teaser now:
