A new trailer for season 2 of Disney+’s “Percy Jackson & The Olympians” is here!

Based on the books by Rick Riordan, season 2 will see Percy (Walker Scobell), Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries) and their frienemy Clarisse (Dior Goodjohn) sailing into the Sea of Monsters on a quest to save Camp Halfbllod and rescue Grover (Aryan Simhadri). We’ll also meet Tyson (Daniel Diemer) the Cyclops, and Thalia (Tamara Smart).

“After Camp Half-Blood’s protective border is breached, Percy Jackson embarks on an epic odyssey into the Sea of Monsters in search of his best friend Grover and the one thing that may save the camp — the legendary Golden Fleece,” the season 2 synopsis reads. “With help from Annabeth, Clarisse and his newfound cyclops half-brother Tyson, Percy’s survival becomes essential to stopping Luke (Charlie Bushnell), the Titan Kronos, and their impending plan to bring down Camp Half-Blood — and ultimately, Olympus.”

Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jason Mantzoukas, Glynn Turman, Virginia Kull, Adam Copeland, and Toby Stephens return. Courtney B. Vance will play Zeus, taking over the role from the late Lance Reddick. New cast this season includes Timothy Simons, Andra Day, Sandra Bernhard, Margaret Cho, Kristen Schaal, Rosemarie DeWitt, and Aleks Paunovic.

“Percy Jackson & The Olympians” hits Disney+ December 10th. Check out the trailer below:

Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.
