Rebecca Ferguson has Already Filmed “Dune Part Three”

For all of you “Dune” fans out there, we have a small update about the upcoming 3rd film. Actress Rebecca Ferguson (“Silo,”), who is returning as Lady Jessica, has shot all of her scenes for “Dune Part Three.”

The film is directed by Denis Villeneuve, from a script they co-wrote with Jon Spaihts, based on books by Frank Herbert.

“I don’t have a big part in this one, [she’s] just barely in the book. I’m not sure I was supposed to be in it and Denis had a little idea,” Ferguson told IndieWire. “The script is phenomenal. It’s really hard to create a film, it’s such a dense book. There’s so much to tell. [Denis] does dip in and out and he does try and he does want to have certain connections and tentacles to the book. Whatever Denis touches I think is phenomenal.”

We’ll keep you posted on updates about “Dune Part 3” as the project develops. In the meantime, the first two films in the franchise, and the late David Lynch’s 1984 adaptation, are all available to watch on AppleTV.
