$2.8 Million on Kickstarter, Backers Rewards — Rokid Glasses are a Great Alternative to Meta’s Ray-Ban Display

Rokid’s AI-powered smart glasses are quickly becoming one of Kickstarter’s most successful wearable launches. In just over a month, the Rokid Glasses campaign has raised over $2.8 million, driven by strong community engagement and a package of rewards that early adopters believe is too good to pass up.

At only 49 grams, Rokid Glasses are the world’s lightest full-function AI & AR glasses, combining dual Micro LED displays, integrated audio, and a 12MP first-person camera with HDR and stabilization. Powered by the Qualcomm AR1 platform, the glasses offer a comprehensive suite of features, including real-time multilingual translation, live transcription, object recognition, teleprompter, notifications, and turn-by-turn navigation, all integrated into a discreet, everyday form factor.

    Community-Driven Momentum

Every backer now receives a $99 AI credit (10,000 AI Points) as a thank-you for pushing the campaign past $2.5 million. This stacks with the Founder’s Exclusive Bundle, which includes:

    • An instant $188 discount off the future retail price.
    • A $118 accessory kit with prescription lens adapters and essentials.
    • Three months of unlimited AI features to test the glasses’ full capabilities.

Backers can also join Rokid’s referral program, earning $50 for every referral and even a free pair of Rokid Glasses after five referrals. The program has driven more than 600 new backers.

Filling the Gap Meta Left Open

The campaign arrives at a moment when interest in smart glasses is surging, but options are limited. Meta’s Ray-Ban Display smart glasses, one of the most Silicon Valley-pilled alternatives, remain notoriously hard to get. With just over a week left in the campaign, Rokid is making its push toward a $3 million goal. The company is clear that once the Kickstarter closes, these bundled rewards will no longer be available.

For early adopters seeking a practical, lightweight, and accessible smart glasses option, and those frustrated with Meta’s closed ecosystem and supply issues, Rokid’s Kickstarter presents a great opportunity to enter the wearable AI market now.
