The release of Guillermo del Toro’s much anticipated film “Frankenstein” is just around the corner, and we couldn’t be more excited. Insight Editions has announced “The Art & Making of Frankenstein: Written & Directed by Guillermo del Toro,” as the official companion book to the film.

Written by Sheila O’Malley it gives a sneak peak into how del Toro adapted Mary Shelley’s gothic masterpiece. Not to mention the hard work of crew and cast members like Oscar Isaac, Jacob Elordi, Mia Goth, and Christoph Waltz. Featuring forwards by Isaac, who plays Dr. Victor Frankenstein, and del Toro.



Readers will get an in depth look at concept art, period appropriate props, locations, and costuming as well. Making this the perfect book for any aspiring filmmaker or curious cinephile.
“Frankenstein” will receive a limited theatrical release October 17th before moving to Netflix November 7th.
