In music, bands gauge their success by when Weird Al Yankovic parodies them. As for IPs, getting turned into a LEGO set is a pretty good sign you’ve made it.
“Star Trek” will be the latest franchise to get the LEGO treatment!

Earlier this morning, LEGO released a 15-second teaser for the upcoming set. The video shows the series’ legendary transporter when someone beams in. After some camera adjustment we see a LEGO figure in a “Star Trek: Next Generation” era red shirt who sure looks like Captain Jean Luc Picard (Sir Patrick Stewart).
The teaser then cuts to Klingon, which roughly translates to “Coming Soon.”

The description on the video simply reads; “Set phasers to build. Coming soon!” before promoting Paramount+ and “Star Trek.”
So all we know right now is that there will be a LEGO set based on the Gene Roddenberry-created franchise coming sometime in the (hopefully not too distant future). It’ll also probably be based on “Next Generation” characters.
We’ll keep you posted on updates about this upcoming “Star Trek” LEGO set as the project develops. You can check out the first teaser below:
