Disney+ has announced when season 2 of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” will hit during their kickoff panel at San Diego Comic-Con [SDCC] in Hall H.
“Percy Jackson and the Olympians” is based on the popular young adult novels by Rick Riordan, who is VERY involved with the series, and has been nothing but excited and supportive of the project. Season 2 will take it’s cues from the second book in the series, “Sea of Monsters.”

The cast for the show includes Walker Scobell as Percy, Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth, Aryan Simhadri as Grover, Megan Mullally as Mrs. Dodds, Virginia Kull as Sally Jackson (Percy’s mom), Timm Sharp as Gabe Ugliano (Percy’s stepfather), Jason Mantzoukas as Dionysius, Glynn Turman as Mr. Brunner, Adam Copeland as Ares, Suzanne Cryer as Echidna, Jessica Parker Kennedy as Medusa, the late Lance Reddick as Zeus, Lin-Manuel Miranda as Hermes, and Toby Stephens as Poseidon.
