We have a new trailer for FX’s upcoming series “Alien: Earth.” This will be the first time the galaxy of Weyland-Yutani and the xenomorphs has been explored on the small screen. The show is directed and written by Noah Hawley (“Fargo.” “Legion”) who also serves as showrunner.

“Alien: Earth” stars Sydney Chandler, Timothy Olyphant, Alex Lawther, Samuel Blenkin, Babou Ceesay, Adrian Edmondson, David Rysdahl, Essie Davis, Lily Newmark, Erana James, Adarsh Gourav, Jonathan Ajayi, Kit Young, Diêm Camille, Moe Bar-El, and Sandra Yi Sencindiver.

The series is set near the end of the 21st century, before the events of Ridley Scott’s 1979 film “Alien.”  In this future world, cyborgs and synthetics exist alongside humans. That is until the leader of Prodigy Corporation creates hybrids, or humanoid robots with human consciousness.

“Alien: Earth” follows a ragtag group of soldiers in the year 2120 after their deep space research vessel, USCSS Maginot, crash lands on Earth. It isn’t long before team leader Wendy (Chandler) discovers they are under constant threat of attack from a Xenomorph.

All while she grapples with finding out she is the first hybrid prototype. “If I’m not human, what am I?” Wendy asks at the begining of the trailer.

It’s executive produced by Scott via his Scott Free company and Hawley, David W. Zucker, Joseph Iberti, Dana Gonzales, and Clayton Krueger.

“Alien: Earth” premieres on FX and Hulu on August 12th, 2025. You can check out the new trailer below:
