Glen Powell is doing his part to promote James Gunn’s “Superman,” which hit theaters on July 11th. Powell re-shared a video of the “Twisters” cast celebrating their co-star David Corenswet getting the role as the Man of Steel.

During the filming of “Twisters” in 2023, Corenswet called and told the cast he got the part.

Filmed by Brandon Perea, the video shows Powell, Harry Hadden-Paton, and Sasha Lane reacting to the news. Perea spends most of the 20-second clip yelling, “That’s our Superman, baby!” He then pans around to show everyone else screaming and waving their arms in excitement. Before he decides to try to fly, and just drops his phone on the ground.

“When the Twisters gang found out that our friend David Corenswet was going to be the next man of steel…,” Powell captioned the video. “David is as good as he seems. A class-act who loves his family, costars, and friends. Just like any movie, it’s nice to see the good guys win…”

“Go see SUPERMAN in theaters!” the post concludes.

You can watch the excitement for yourself below. “Superman” is in theaters nationwide.
