The popcorn bucket wars rage on, but the upcoming legacy sequel “I Know What You Did Last Summer” demands more. Pop-up brand, Chain has teamed up with Sony Pictures Entertainment and Red Lobster for the Dread Lobster food truck.

This 4th of July weekend, the Dread Lobster truck will pop up at secret locations around LA and South Bay. Each of the truck’s stops will be sent out via text for anyone who signs up at dreadlobster.com. You can also call or text (505) 552-4246 to sign up and to hear a special message from franchise staple Jennifer Love Hewitt.

The limited-edition meal it will be serving includes:

    • Fisherman’s Catch Cheddar-Baked Lobster Roll – A terrifyingly delicious spin on the classic lobster roll. Warm cheddar-baked buns are stuffed with fresh lemon-herb lobster salad, seasoned with an Old Bay spice blend, and finished with a Cheddar Bay Biscuit® inspired crumble and crispy shallots.
    • Croaker Queen Chips: Hand-slashed Kennebec potatoes, secret-seasoned and fried in small batches.
    • Crime Lime Summer Soda: A passion fruit and lime soda designed to refresh the palate. One sip and you’ll be hooked.

The best part is it’s free while supplies last! Customers who can show proof of ticket purchase will get a bonus collectible gift.

“I Know What You Did Last Summer” hits theatres on July 18th. You can check out the trailer below:
