We finally have a full trailer for writer/director James Gunn’s upcoming film “Superman.” Starring David Corenswet as the titular superhero, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor.
The full trailer mainly focuses on Lois trying to interview her boyfriend, Clark Kent, as his superhero alter ego, Superman. She grills him about an attack he launched, but he insists he was stopping a war. As she keeps asking questions, like any good journalist would, the Man of Steel becomes angrier and angrier.

Their conversation is intercut with your typical superhero movie fare. Buildings blowing up, kids being rescued, flying, you know the drill. What’s different here is that where we’d normally see crowds cheering him on, we see people furious and throwing things at him. Lois’ questions do mostly centered around public outrage of him acting as a vigilante.
“He’s not a man,” Lex Luthor says in the trailer. “He’s an ‘it’ that’s somehow become the focal point of the entire world’s conversation.”
Corenswet, Brosnahan, and Hoult star alongside Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Terence Rosemore as Otis, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, and María Gabriela de Faría as The Engineer.
“Superman” hits theaters on July 11th, 2025. You can check out the full trailer below:
