We have yet another creator traveling to a galaxy far, far away. Carlton Cuse (“LOST”) will be heading up a brand new “Star Wars”  series for Lucasfilm. Cuse will partner with his son Nick Cuse (“Masters of the Air”) on the project, which is still in early development.

Details on this new project are currently being kept under wraps.

This announcement comes hot on the heels of Star Wars Celebration kicking off in Tokyo, Japan, and right before the premiere of “Andor” season 2. But to be fair, being this close to May the 4th is like Christmas for all the fans of this iconic, ground-breaking franchise.

“Andor” season 2 premieres on April 22nd. We’ll keep you posted on updates about the Cuse’s series as the project develops. For now, you can catch most things “Star Wars” streaming exclusively on Disney+.
