We have some exciting news for fans of classic Warner Bros. Animation franchises. At CinemaCon, the company announced that new animated films for “The Flintstones,” “Looney Tunes,” and “Tom and Jerry” are in the works! A shocking development considering Warner Bros. just pulled a lot of its animation from MAX and shelved “Coyote Vs. Acme,” recently saved by Ketchup Entertainment.
This led fans to speculate that the studio was leaving animation behind altogether.

However, the recent announcement promises theatrical animated feature films for “The Flintstones,” “Looney Tunes,” and “Tom and Jerry.” Which is a pleasant but confusing surprise given Warner’s decisions over the past few years.
Please note that this upcoming animated “The Flintstones” should not be confused with the long-rumored live-action “Meet The Flintstones.” These are seemingly completely separate movies done in entirely different mediums.
At this time very little is known about any of these three projects. We’ll keep you posted on updates about these movies as they become available.
