During a company shareholder meeting, Walt Disney Pictures CEO Bob Iger announced a sequel to a much beloved animated feature film, “Coco.”
“While the film is just in the initial stages, we know it will be full of humor, heart and adventure,” Iger said during the call. “And we can’t wait to share more soon.”
Lee Unkrich and co-director Adrian Molinawill return to helm the picture for Pixar.
We’re sort of scratching our heads as to the why and how of the announcement. Especially with a release date of 2029.
