Creation’s Salute to Women of Sci-Fi Con Coming to SoCal

It’s no secret the staff at NerdBot love sci-fi, but what we really love is all the badass women in the genre. From Mary Shelley penning “Frankenstein” to Princess Leia rescuing herself, women have been kicking ass all through sci-fi. Creation Entertainment is hosting a charity convention later this month to Salute to Women of Sci-Fi.

All profits from the Creation Charity Event: Salute to Women of Sci-Fi will be donated to local Los Angeles charities, including Defy: Disaster & Random Acts Natural Disaster Recovery Fund, that supports the recovery of areas affected by the recent California wildfires, and first responders.

The Salute to Women of Sci-Fi will also offer inspiring on-stage panels, guest photo ops/autograph signings, alongside many other special events throughout the weekend.

A Creation Charity Event: Salute to Women of Sci-Fi will take place March 22nd through 23rd at Marriott Burbank Airport Hotel in Burbank, California. You can find out more information and grab tickets here.
