We are very sorry to share the news that American treasure and songstress Dolly Parton has shared the news of her husband, Carl Dean, passing away. The couple had been together for over 60 years.
“Carl and I spent many wonderful years together,” Parton wrote on her Instagram. “Words can’t do justice to the love we shared for over 60 years. Thank you for your prayers and sympathy.”
The family has understandably asked for privacy at the time.
