Watch: 10+ Minutes of “The Wheel of Time” Season 3

We’ve had a love-hate-hopeful relationship with Amazon Prime Video’s “The Wheel of Time.” With such a LARGE amount of source material to pull from for the adaptation, season 1 left us scratching our heads. Why even call it “The Wheel of Time” with so many changes? (No complaints about casting though, almost 100% satisfaction across the Ajas and beyond.)

Season 2 was marginally better, and set our expectations higher for what was to come. Maybe this shift was because showrunner Rafe Judkins had stepped away, who’s to say. But with so much of the important world-forming things set to take place in season 3, we’re slightly more hopeful.

    Prime Video

This morning, Prime Video posted an 11-minute video they’re calling an “exclusive sneak peek” at season 3. You know that thing where studios put all the meat of the movie or show in a trailer? Yeah. That’s what’s happening here. So, be warned.

WHY SHOW SUCH A BIG THING BEFORE THE SEASON STARTS, GUYS?! Seriously!! Liandrin starting her coup, and attacking the Amyrlin?! THE SPLIT OF THE FLAMING TOWER?!

Seasons 1 and 2 are currently streaming, with season 3 set to premiere March 13th.

Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.
