It has been almost eight years since we’ve seen Mick Taylor grace the big or small screen. Cineverse’s horror division, Bloody Disgusting, is here to fix that with “Wolf Creek: Legacy” The film will be the third movie in the slasher franchise, alongside a TV series.

“Legacy” will follow an American family visiting Australia. Unfortunately, they just so happen to find themselves in Mick Taylor’s hunting grounds. When the parents sacrifice themselves to save their children, the kids find themselves alone and hunted in the vast Australian wilderness.
John Jarratt will reprise his role as Mick Taylor, aka the Outback Killer. Starring alongside Jay Ryan and Laura Gordon. It will be directed by Sean Lahiff (“Carnifex”) with “Wolf Creek” creator Greg McLean producing.

The franchise started in 2005 and was followed by “Wolf Creek 2” in 2013. A TV show by the same name, launched in 2016 and ran for two seasons. The entire franchise is currently streaming on Tubi.
Production for “Wolf Creek: Legacy ” is expected to begin later this year. With plans to hit theaters in the fall of 2026.
