What Would a Celebrity Do in an Ordinary Week? Behind the Glamour and Into Their Daily Routines

Celebrities are idolized for their looks but how do they get there? While it may look effortless on the catwalk or red carpet, there’s undeniably a lot of effort going on behind the scenes. Our ordinary weeks are likely entirely different to that of a celebrity. So, what do celebs get up to? Let’s take a look.

    Beauty Secrets

Most celebrities are famous or popular because of their looks. This means that they really do need to keep an eye on the way they look if they are to remain relevant. As such, there are often numerous beauty secrets in play regarding their smooth, flawless skin, shining hair and so on.

When it comes to beauty secrets each celebrity is different. Most celebs swear by staying hydrated. This means that their water intake is usually carefully monitored. Skincare is the number one concern, which means all celebrities are very careful about loading up on SPF products to protect their skin from harmful rays and prevent early aging. Many celebrities will also take exfoliating to the next level, use masks, and ensure that the microbiome of the skin is kept balanced. Sabrina Elba makes good use of exfoliating masks to keep that dewy look while also enjoying the anti-inflammatory properties such devices also offer.

    Intense Exercise

Especially for actors, staying in shape is a must. Depending on whether they are a man or woman, in an action movie or rom-com, the level of fitness required for on-screen will differ. However, in recent years, the trend for men to look absolutely ripped, and to see each muscle fully defined has skyrocketed. These workouts are not easy though. Some stars like Chris Hemsworth had epic workouts to endure for his role as Thor. This included weightlifting, cardio, circuit training and more. What’s harder about all this is that it requires 6 hours of training a day. Some of these workouts required starting at 4am in the morning, which means a long day.

    Staying Entertained

Of course, celebrities do need some time off. This means that there are some areas where they rest and relax. Just like the rest of us, they use a lot of regular entertainment options. For instance, it’s well-known that celebs will kick back and relax with TV shows or movies. Additionally, they derive a lot of their entertainment from playing games. Some, like Henry Cavill enjoy playing Warhammer, while others are known for their gambling tendencies. Tobey Maguire is a known poker player and enjoys visiting casinos to gamble in his downtime. This translates across to the online platform, where casinos like Monkey Tilt casino exist to offer a wealth of casino games at the tip of the fingers.

    Eating healthy

Alongside these skin care and workout routines, there is the requirement to eat well. Many workout routines have a nutrition plan as part and parcel of it. For instance, many male actors are required to eat lots of protein, good fats, and hit around 6000 calories per day. For women, aiming to keep thinner figures, the diet is completely different though no less stringent. Scarlett Johansson’s diet for Avengers involved time-restricted eating, carb cycling, and protein. On the other hand, actress Natalie Portman has a strict vegan diet, which also involves plant-based proteins.

    Still working

For some, an average week, even when not in front of a camera, is still filled with work. Just like the rest of us, celebrities still have to call their agents, take meetings, prepare for auditions, and so on. As such, it’s a lot of work with limited downtime. Even when a party is on the cards, celebs and A-listers still need to be in work mode, considering how their behavior will be seen to the masses. As such, it can be hard to actually let their hair down as they’re still in the public eye.

With all this in mind, it really goes to show it’s not as easy to be a celebrity at all. Yes, they have stylists, agents, coaches, and nutritionists to help, but it’s still not as easy a life as it might appear to the rest of us.
