There’s nothing better than a good surprise. Especially when they’re from incredible sweethearts like Jeff Goldblum. While promoting her upcoming rom-com “Fly Me to the Moon“ on “Today,” Scarlett Johansson got a surprise. A special welcome to the “Jurassic Park” family from Goldblum, who played Dr. Ian Malcom in the original film and reprised his role a few times over. Johansson will star in Garth Edwards‘ upcoming “Jurassic World” reboot. It’s a wonderfully wholesome gesture and sure to give anyone a serotonin boost for the day.

It’s not as if Goldblum and Johansson have never met. The two worked together only recently on the set of Wes Anderson‘s “Asteroid City.” But it’s clearly a thrill for Johansson to receive the heartfelt welcome. Naturally, Goldblum makes it somehow endearing and hilarious. “Don’t get eaten…unless you want to.” And one can’t have Jeff Goldblum and “Jurassic Park” without uttering his iconic line.

It really is a treat for ScarJo, too. The actress said she was obsessed with and wanted to star in a “Jurassic Park” movie ever since she saw the original film in theaters. To her point, the movie’s technologies still hold up incredibly well today. But she’s been aching to be on the set of a Jurassic movie of any kind. Stating she would take on anything, even just catering the craft services table. It’s always fun when actors finally land themselves in a role they’ve been dreaming of. Johansson’s just happens to be surrounded by gigantic lizards trying to eat her. We should all be so lucky.
