We are sorry to report the upcoming second season of Riot Games and Netflix’s very popular animated series “Arcane” will be it’s last. This came as a surprise for many fans, but it’s always good when the thing ending gets the chance to wrap up the story, right?
The news was revealed by way of a new teaser, which calls season 2 “the final season.”

“Arcane is just the beginning of our larger storytelling journey and partnership with the wonderful animation studio that is Fortiche,” showrunner Christian Linke said. “From the very beginning, since we started working on this project, we had a very specific ending in mind, which means the story of Arcane wraps up with this second season. But Arcane is just the first of many stories that we want to tell in Runeterra.”

The cast includes Hailee Steinfeld (“Spider-Verse” films) as Vi, and Ella Purnell (“Fallout“) as Jinx. Also with Katie Leung as Caitlyn, Reed Shannon as Ekko, Amirah Vann as Sevika, Mick Wingert as Heimerdinger, Ellen Thomas as Ambessa, and Brett Tucker as Singed. Expect some new characters this season, too.
The final season of “Arcane” will hit Netflix sometime in November of 2024. Season one is currently streaming. Check out the teaser below:
