“Star Trek” Star Banned from Restaurant for Alleged Tantrum

If there is one thing we don’t like seeing, its people being rude to restaurant staff. We especially don’t like seeing it happen when celebrities are involved. Some celebrities seem so out-of-touch with reality, as if their fame gives them an automatic pass for bad behavior. The fact of the matter is there are consequences for bad behavior, no matter how famous you are.

This is something Emmy-nominee Zachary Quinto (“Star Trek“) recently learned.

Quinto was recently banned from the restaurant Manita, located in Toronto, Canada. The restaurant posted about the incident to social media. The self described “Mediterranean-ish bistro” referred to Quinto as “an amazing Spock, but a terrible customer” on their Instagram.

You might want to grab some popcorn because Manita seriously put him on blast.

Manita claims Quinto yelled at staff “like an entitled child,” and “made our host cry.” This allegedly occurred because the “American Horror Story” alumni missed attempts at communicating his table was ready. Quinto’s actions allegedly made other diners uncomfortable throughout the incident. Manita ends their statement by saying Quinto can take his “bad vibes somewhere else.”

Yikes. This is seriously uncool and not a logical response Spock would approve of.

In a since deleted post to his Instagram account, Quinto confirmed he was in the area to celebrate his 47th birthday. The actor has received a lot of backlash and criticism from the general public since Manita’s post. Neither Quinto nor his representatives have commented on the situation.
