“It can’t rain all the time.”
One of those classic lines that set the little black hearts of many a proto goth pitter pattering 30 years ago. While James O’Barr‘s “The Crow” graphic novel wasn’t for everyone, the resulting film from director Alex Proyas has remained a cinematic touchstone. From iconography to one of the best soundtracks of the era, its one of those movies you either love, or you LOVE.
“The Crow” is returning to theaters for the landmark anniversary, at select Cinemark locations on May 29th and 30th. Not only will you get to see the late Brandon Lee in all his glory, but also bonus content with production designer Alex McDowell discussing the the film.
There is also a brand new 30th anniversary 4K steelbook release available, which you can pick up here.
You can check on Cinemark’s website now for a location near you, as well as purchasing tickets here.
“The Crow” remake starring Bill Skarsgård hits theaters August 23rd, 2024.
