Today I want to feature a show that anyone who enjoys mysteries will love. Those of you who watched “Unsolved Mysteries” or just love to read about urban legends, should have a keen interest in this new show on Netflix.

Group disappearances, chilling apparitions, and mysterious anomalies. Every single day, and in every corner of North America, normal, everyday people are experiencing phenomena that are not just bizarre but utterly extraordinary. These are not just mere occurrences, but rather events that challenge the very fabric of our known reality, phenomena that seemingly defy explanation. Each compelling episode of this remarkable series delves into these peculiar happenings, bringing to light the experiences that real individuals have lived through, forever altering their perception of the world.

In “Files of the Unexplained,” each story unfolds through careful investigation and engaging narrative, sparking curiosity and challenging the viewers’ understanding of the world. The encounters in question are not just eerie, but haunting – experiences that will make even the most hardened skeptic start second-guessing everything they’ve ever known or believed.

    Episode Guide

    • Episode 1: On a 1973 fishing expedition in Pascagoula, Mississippi, two men stumbled upon an unidentified vessel and purportedly experienced an abduction. Their surreal interaction with extraterrestrial entities left them questing for clarity.
    • Episode 2: The Myrtles Plantation, a historic inn in St. Francisville, Louisiana, draws numerous visitors and reputedly hosts various spirits, a testament to its haunting past.
    • Episode 3: The Yuba County Five – five California men who vanished in 1978, leaving investigators bewildered. After a shared evening basketball match, what compelled them to venture into the unforgiving wilderness?
    • Episode 4: For years, US military personnel have documented unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), such as the one captured in the notorious Gimbal video. Their voices were stifled by the government until a whistleblower from the Department of Defense broke the silence in 2023.
    • Episode 5: Lake Lanier, a man-made expanse in Georgia, has silently seized hundreds of lives over time, birthing myriad chilling tales. This has led inhabitants to suspect that the spirits of the drowned now ominously pervade its depths.
    • Episode 6: Nestled in northern California, the active volcano, Mount Shasta, is revered by the Karuk tribe, one of the state’s most populous Indigenous groups. This mountain is a rich tapestry of myths, legends, and history, encompassing tales from the legend of Lemuria to a fated ski lodge.
    • Episode 7: The mysterious blobs that cascaded from the heavens upon Oakville, Washington, in 1994, triggered illness among its inhabitants. This incited speculation regarding the blobs’ origins. Could they be remnants of sea creatures or did they bear a more ominous source?
    • Episode 8: On the rocky shores of British Columbia’s Salish Sea, a couple stumbled upon shoes, which, upon closer inspection, harbored skeletal remains. As more severed feet emerged from the waves, investigators’ suspicions of malevolent deeds escalated.

“Files of the Unexplained” has been streaming since April 3rd and is available now to watch on Netflix.
