It sounds like Prime Video has renewed their live-action series “Fallout” for a second season! [This is an update to our previously published piece, which pointed out no one noticed the renewal!]
According to a report from the Los Angeles Times from April 8th, the MGM/Amazon production has moved from New York to California for it’s “second season.” Why the move? Why, to take advantage of the tax credits the golden state gives productions who film there.
But SECOND SEASON?! Okie dokie!

“We are thrilled to bring ‘Fallout’ back to its California roots,” Colleen Bell, executive director of the California Film Commission said. “We take pride in productions choosing to pack up and relocate to our great state from other jurisdictions.”
The production is expected bring in a hefty cast and crew, along with revenue for the state.
But still odd Prime Video hasn’t commented on the renewal, right?
Season 1 of “Fallout” is currently available to stream now. It stars Ella Purnell, Walton Goggins, Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan, and more.
