Have you ever wanted to see Bill Skarsgård (“The Crow”) go on a rampage while voiced by H. John Benjamin (“Bob’s Burgers”)? Well, you’re in luck! Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions have dropped the first hilariously action-packed trailer for the upcoming film “Boy Kills World.”

“Boy Kills World” centers around Boy (Skarsgård) who vows revenge after his family is murdered by Hilda Van Der Koy (Famke Janssen). Leaving him not only orphaned, but deaf and voiceless as well. So he does what anyone would do, co-opt an inner monologue (Benjamin) from from his favorite childhood video game, then run off to train with a mysterious shaman (Yayan Ruhian). All in a quest to become an instrument of death, as he seeks revenge on Koy, the ruthless matriarch of a corrupt post-apocalyptic dynasty.

This leads him on a journey where he falls in with a radical resistance group, who aid in the carnage. Eventually, Boy gets himself into the annual culling, a televised execution done by breakfast mascots, run by Koy. As you can imagine, all hell breaks loose from there.

The cast also includes Jessica Rothe, Michelle Dockery (“Downton Abbey“), Sharlto Copley, Brett Gelman, Isaiah Mustafa, and Andrew Koji. “Boy Kills World,” is directed by Moritz Mohr (“Viva Berlin!”) from a script he co-wrote with Tyler Burton Smith (2019’s “Child’s Play”) and Arend Remmers (“Dreamfactory”).

Producers included Sam Raimi, Roy Lee, Simon Swart, Alex Lebovici, Stuart Manashil, Wayne Fitzjohn, Zainab Azizi, and Dan Kagan. Mohr, Sipho Nkosi, Mxolisi Mgojo, Humphrey Mathe, Reza Brojerdi, Christian Mercuri, and Andrew Childs will executive produce.

“Boy Kills World” hits theaters theaters on April 26th. You can check out the first bloody and hilarious trailer below:
