We hope you haven’t had your fill of beloved children’s characters going on homicidal rampages because “Winnie The Pooh: Blood and Honey 2” has new first-look images! Last year director Rhys Frake-Waterfield sent audiences on a blood-soaked journey through the Hundred Acre Woods. This year he intends to give us an even more intense, revenge fueled, romp.

The first film centers around Winnie (Craig David Dowsett) and Piglet (Chris Cordell) going on a killing spree after being abandoned by their beloved Christopher Robin (Nikolai Leon). It quickly grabbed the attention of genre fans and the general public making it enough of a success to warrant a sequel.

Currently, there isn’t much known about the follow-up film aside from some cast changes. Winnie will now be played by Ryan Oliva, Piglet will be portrayed by Eddy MacKenzie, and their friend-tuned-foe Christopher Robin will be played by Scott Chambers. It is also confirmed that the group will be leaving the Hundred Acre Woods to terrorize the residents of Ashdown. With their primary target being a group of girls at a local trailer park.

The new images show a much more distressed character design this time around. In the first film, our killers had on more cartoonish, plastic outfits. The sequel will have them in dirty, blood-soaked, faux-fur garb. Both of the new images are close-ups showing Winnie and Robin’s deranged and traumatized appearances.

“Winnie The Pooh: Blood and Honey 2” is slated to be released on February 14th, 2024 aka Valentine’s Day. The first trailer should be released later on this month. You can check out the first film currently streaming on Peacock.
