The Rock Eats at In-N-Out for 1st Time [Again]

Former pro-wrestler turned actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson told a small fib in a recent video. Even though Johnson is well known for his strict diet, he loves to share cheat day meals with fans. The problem with sharing these junk food-laden feasts is it’s pretty easy to backtrack them. Which brings us to the discovery that his recent “first time at In-N-Out” isn’t true.

In fact, it wasn’t true the last time he claimed it, either.

In August of 2022, Johnson posted a video of two In-N-Out burgers on a plate with fries in his kitchen. He claimed he was eating food from the regional fast food chain for the first time, and was impressed. He also paired the meal with blanco and reposado versions of his Teremana brand of tequila. So there is a chance he may have forgotten the meal altogether.

While August may have been his “first time” eating there, he was still no stranger to In-N-Out Burger. Back in February of 2017, he posted a selfie with two smiling drive-thru employees. The caption said he had never been to the chain before, but his wife and daughter wanted food. While he didn’t say he ate there (since maybe it wasn’t a cheat day), he complimented the staff and service. Promising to come back in a tux and eat some burgers if his movie “Moana” won an Oscar that Sunday.  As fun as that would have been to see, “Moana” did not win, so the prophecy was not fulfilled.

All joking aside, odds are he just forgot venturing to In-N-Out Burger in the past, and this is an unintentional fib. Or we can start the conspiracy theory that this is the longest and most subtle marketing campaign for a fast-food chain ever. The choice is yours and yours alone for which reason you choose to accept here.

You can watch the video of his most recent “first” visit to In-N-Out Burger below:
