AMC, Loungefly Releasing Nicole Kidman-Inspired Backpack

We….are not sure how we feel about this. It’s bad enough that people are STILL CHEERING AND APPLAUDING when AMC theaters roll the ad featuring Nicole Kidman. Seriously, why? Is it just habit at this point? What are you actually cheering?? We were THERE when the first audience member stood up and saluted the ad. Because of this enduring….thing…AMC is teaming up with Loungefly to give the people what they want-

a mini backpack inspired by Kidman’s outfit.

You know the one; a grey impeccably tailored suit, pinstriped with silver. It honestly didn’t take long for cosplayers to pay homage to the ‘silver screen’ suit, either. But we have to say, we were not expecting a flex this hard.

According to AMC, qualifying AMC Stubs Premiere and A-List members will be able to purchase the item at 11:00am (EST), on December 4th, 2023. To qualify, member must be actively enrolled into AMC Stubs Premiere or A-List by 11:59pm (EST), November 26th, 2023. Qualifying member will need to enter their AMC Stubs account number within checkout flow process to qualify.

You’ll be able to order them here. These will be extremely limited, and are limited to one per member. But if you miss out, don’t worry, heartbreak feels good in a place like this.

Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.
