If you aren’t a fan of pineapple on pizza, then you’re going to hate DiGiorno‘s new Thanksgiving pizza. We have to say, we never thought to put Thanksgiving leftovers on a pizza. Usually they go best on a sandwich.
This pizza comes with Thanksgiving staples like turkey, gravy, sweet potatoes, green beans, and cranberries. Not only does it have those classic holiday staples, it also has mozzarella, cheddar, and crispy onions. It is certainly an interesting concept for an extra savory meal.
That being said, we have some concerns.

The gravy and turkey don’t sound all that bad. The green beans, cranberries, and sweet potatoes are giving us pause. Green beans are one of those Thanksgiving ingredients that should be regulated to casserole and casserole only. Using actually cranberries doesn’t feel right, maybe a cranberry sauce drizzle would’ve worked better in this dish. The sweet potato chunks also feel like a miss, perhaps turn them into a puree to add to the gravy sauce. Or better yet, leave the sweet potatoes in a dish under some marshmallows.
We promise we won’t judge anyone adventurous enough to try this frozen pizza. We just hope the green beans don’t turn to mush after you pull it out the oven. Seriously, is there anything worse than mushy green beans? Especially on a pizza as….interesting as this one. We won’t be surprised if this is on the table at Thanksgiving celebrations.
The DiGiorno Thanksgiving Pizza is exclusively available online, starting November 1st, 2023. It is already sold out. We’ll let you know if they make additional orders.
