Rebecca, Keeley, and Ted Lasso Getting Official Barbies!

Greta Gerwig‘s billion-dollar “Barbie” has re-energized the purchase of the iconic Mattel dolls. Riding on the high of a popular movie, another popular series is getting the life in plastic treatment. Apple TV+’s “Ted Lasso” is getting its own line of Barbies!

    Coach Lasso

Ted’s Barbie comes with his iconic mustache and outfit. Aviators, a soccer ball, and a whistle make up his accessories. Though a plate of homemade biscuits wouldn’t go amiss in the lineup of Lasso accoutrement. Of course, you can’t have the RFC coach without having the RFC owner in tow.

    Rebecca

The always-fashionable Rebecca is resplendent in a champagne blouse, black pants, and business-meaning stilettos. An expensive handbag serves as her iconic accessory.

    Keeley

Lastly, we have Keely, who might be the most traditional Barbie in terms of Barbie dolls given her proclivity for pink. Wearing a black fur stole, pink satin, and golden heels — with hoop earrings to match. And her blonde hair shimmers in a high pony. As fashion-forward Barbies go, this one might be the most attractive to all ages. While the Lasso and Rebecca models seem more appropriate for collectors. But they’re still fun additions. However, we won’t be happy without a Roy Kent doll somewhere down the line.

This isn’t Mattel’s only plan, either. The returning popularity of Barbie has spurred the toy manufacturer into moving forward with a movie-verse of other popular brands, including Barney and Polly Pocket. Which, yeah, seems a little weird. But, if approached in a similar vein to “Barbie,” might give us some really interesting films in the future.

All three are currently sold out. No word on a possible restock. All three seasons of “Ted Lasso” are available to stream now on Apple TV+.
