This may not be interesting to the majority of our readers, but- “The Thin Man” films starring Myrna Loy and William Powell are something of a favorite around here. So, imagine our delight when the news Margot Robbie‘s LuckyChap Productions along with Brad Pitt‘s Plan B are apparently interested in the franchise.
The rights for the classic film noir collection based on the work of Dashiell Hammett recently became available. Word is both LuckyChap and Plan B have been in some kind of talks since prior to the strikes.
Obviously, Robbie is back in the position of being able to go after pretty much any project following the billion dollar success of “Barbie.”
While we don’t always love the idea of reboots, the right persons as Nick and Nora could really do justice to “The Thin Man.” (Which you can actually watch on MAX!)
