“You ARE the brother!”
Daytime talkshow legend Maury Povich retired in 2021, after 31 years of countless episodes. He’s recently said he’d come back for one special episode though. As we’ve reported on several times, there may be a possibility that co-stars and BFFs Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson are related. It’s come up more than once, and Maury says he’d absolutely come out of retirement to read the results of a DNA test.
“I would come out of retirement. We could do primetime, ‘DNA, Maury’s back with Woody and Matthew,’” Povich told E! News. “I’ll even get my showtime color back in my hair. Woody’s got my number. I’m ready.”
Harrelson and McConaughey turned in some tremendous performances in “True Detective” season 1 for Netflix. The pair will be reuniting for the upcoming film, “Brother From Another Mother.” How apt!
“I like the way you’re thinking,” McConaughey said to Povich.
