Spirit Halloween has Brand New “Barbie” Movie Costumes

Despite the fact that we’re in the middle of the summer, that’s not stopping retailers from getting the jump on upcoming holidays. To celebrate “Barbie The Movie,” Spirit Halloween is stocking up on Barbie brand costumes for this year’s spooky season. Though the only thing frightening will be an overabundance of blond wigs and day-glo pink.

From Barbie to Ken (but not Alan), they’ve got you covered.

    Cowboy Barbie

Reliving the memories of your horse girl days, which of us didn’t have a cowboy Barbie? Well now we can dress just like her, resplendent in pink with shiny, dark pink accents, lasso, hat, and kerchief. Get ready to say giddy-up at the Halloween party and rope yourself a snack!

    Skating Barbie

And if cowboy isn’t your thing, get ready to trip the life in plastic as the psychedelic, eye-bleeding colors of Skater Barbie. Complete with kneepads, visor, earrings, and fannypack. Though you’ll have to look elsewhere for the skates, as only the children’s size comes with matching roller blades. No fair!

    Weird Barbie

Ready to be artsy? Ready to make your friend’s eyes pop while wearing pop art? Then the Weird Barbie set is for you! Not only functional, it’s comfortable! This costume includes the jacket, shirt, and pants. Bad-ass combat boots sold separately, but a Weird Barbie definitely needs her stompers for a night on the town.

    Pink Power Jumpsuit Barbie

If you want to be a Barbie that’s ready for anything, then Pink Power Jumpsuit Barbie is up to the challenge. Shocking pink adorns your every limb, with a snazzy headband and sunglasses, you look like you’re ready to pop the hood, or go for a quick drag race before getting back to the shop. The jumpsuit is available in plus sizes.

    Gingham Barbie

Perhaps these previous Barbie’s aren’t to your tastes. The more action-y Barbies have their place, but sometimes a Barbie has to relax. Get ready to look pretty in Pink-nic wear with Gingham barbie. With an adorable sunhat, necklace of scallop shells, and gingham pattern dress with a dollhouse trim, you’ll be ready to relax in the sun with a bottle of prosecco. Heck, this one’s cute even without being a Halloween costume. Shoes sold separately!

    President Sash

Feel like being President Barbie for a day? Or a Halloween party? Maybe pass it around to the best Barbie costume of the night! This sash is printed in the trademarked Barbie text, with a glossy pink finish.

    Skating Ken

Before you start thinking “What? No couples costumes?”, Spirit has you covered. What Barbie would be complete without a Ken to tag along? Now you and your partner can have people reaching for their sunglasses as you both strike out in psychedelic colors. Roll your way to best costume with Skater Ken. Bleached Hair a la Ryan Gosling not included.

    Cowboy Ken

Every Calamity Jane needs their Wild Bill to go with them. Which is why your Cowboy Barbie won’t be wanderin’ under the clear blue sky alone. Lasso yourself a Ken to go with you. Though this one’s a little bit boring, if we’re honest. Needs more fringe. Maybe some chaps. But, hey, Ken’s all about making Barbie look good, so perhaps it’s appropriate.

    Rebel Rocker Ken

Ohh, that’s where the rest of the fringe and leather went! Rebel Rocker Ken, of course! Strike like the lightning on your pants, with some bad-ass fingerless gloves, leather fringe vest, and shocking headband. This is a Ken not to be trifled with. Just look at that fanny pack. This is a man who commands the room. Perhaps a counterpart to Weird Barbie, this Ken is for the edgelord in you. Right down to your white sneakers.

    A Ken Shirt…That’s It

And for the partner who’s maybe a little too insecure to dress up, we have…a Ken shirt. Well, we suppose that works. For those who want to support the Barbie in their life, but might be a little more fragile in the masculinity department. Still, it’s a nice shirt.

Cowboy, Skater, And Jumpsuit Kid Sizes

Don’t worry, there are children’s sizes for the little Barbie girl in your family. Either play twinsies with your kids, or let them be their own empowered doll of many hats. Family friendly and just as eye-searing, these are some great looks for all the trick-or-treaters.

You can find these and more on Spirit Halloween’s website here.
