2-time Oscar winner (accused of multiple sexual assault cases) Kevin Spacey took to the witness box during his United Kingdom trial at Southwark Crown Court. He claims the relationship with one of his alleged victims was “somewhat intimate.” The trial of Spacey’s alleged sexual assault took focus on one of four victims, who accuses the “House of Cards” star of “aggressively” grabbing at his crotch in the early 2000s.

Spacey continued claiming he never touched the victim “violently,” and that all interactions were “flirtatious.” Spacey recalled the event as “romantic” and “intimate.” While he could not recall specific conversations, he asserted that the two “had a very fun time together.”

When addressing other accusations during the trial, Spacey denied having drugged one of the victims, as well as performing sexual acts while the victim was sleeping. Spacey instead claims he performed a consensual sex act with the “aspiring actor.”

Spacey claims many of the accusations against him “make no logical sense,” and are “a stab in the back.” While discussing how the claims have impacted his life, the 63-year-old grew very emotional and was seen dabbing his eyes while in the witness box. He said once the accusations came out, he “lost everything.” He claims these accusations forced him to “out” himself as gay in 2017 “before he was ready.”

As the testimony went on, Spacey said he made efforts to account for where he was during each of the alleged offenses. He claims to keep everything regarding his whereabouts in two different storage units in Baltimore and London. Spacey even went as far as googling where he was meant to be during the times for the accusations.

    The trial is ongoing.
