Are you a big fan of Beyoncé or Jay-Z? Well, you now have the chance to own the couples’ bidet and other household items. These pieces are up for auction on eBay courtesy of Eric’s Architectural Salvage L.A., a “green reuse architectural salvage company.”

“We work with top developers when they’re renovating these amazing houses,” Eric Ramos of Eric’s Architectural Salvage L.A., said. “In 30 years we have reclaimed items from the houses of Frank Sinatra, Gregory Peck, Dean Martin, Nicolas Cage, Bella and Gigi Hadid, Jay-Z Beyoncé- just to name a few. Although it’s fun to get Hollywood’s famous reused items, at Eric’s Architectural Salvage of L.A. our ultimate goal is to save and reuse items from all homes in order to keep them from being thrown into a landfill.”
In addition to the bidet, the company is also auctioning off sconces, exterior lights, and a large metal doorframe. All of the pieces are sourced from a Holmbly Hills mansion the couple once rented in 2015. The home was reportedly sold soon after Beyonce and Jay-Z left. Ramos purchased the household fixtures in 2017 when the new owner wanted to renovate. But we have no idea why the company waited six years to put these items up for auction.
“We never charge for the Hollywood WOW factor that is simply a bonus for shopping at Eric’s,” Ramos explained. “However, we are definitely not a nonprofit company and have to pay top dollar for every single item purchased. But we think it’s worth it in order to get other people to start reusing top quality items instead of going out and purchasing new.”
This may sound a bit insincere since the bidet from this auction has a starting bid of $2,425.00. But in looking the item up bidets with Sherle Wagner hardware, like the one being sold. The manufactures’ website only offers prices for new models upon request. And as the old saying goes; if you have to ask you can’t afford it. The only other used listing we could find that seemed comparable was priced higher, but it is also being sold by Eric’s Architectural Salvage L.A. So not being bidet experts, we’ll have to take his word on this not being marked up.
Erics Architectural Salvage of L.A. does offer local pickups, located at 1540 West 6th St. Los Angeles, 90017. Best of luck to any super fans placing their bids.
