Have you ever thought to yourself “The 1980 comedy “Caddyshack” sure could use some “Gremlins”? Well, fear not because “Caddy Hack” is now a thing that exists!

“Caddy Hack” centers around an already struggling golf course that suddenly suffers a string of caddies being murdered. The culprates? A band of pesticide-mutated gofers, that are just a touch murder happy. Of course,  the greedy owner of the golf course tries to cover up the bloodshed, a la “Jaws.” All while an unhinged groundkeeper wages an all-out war on the killer gofers. Will the staff be able to successfully stop the “Gremlins”-esque vermin and save the course?

This new horror comedy will be directed and produced by Anthony Catanese. The cast includes Jim Gordon, Jake Foy, Chrissy Cavallo, Nick Twist, Ilene Sullivan, and John Evans.

Sara Casey, Scott Miller, Joseph Kuzemka and Rob Hauschild will serve as producers alongside Catanese and Gordon.

The new horror comedy will premiere at Kevin Smith’s Smodcastle Theater in Atlantic Highlands, NJ on August 11th. Wild Eye Releasing will then do a digital, Blu-Ray, and DVD release sometime in October.

We’ll keep you posted on updates about  “Caddy Hack” as they become available. In the meantime check out the full, and way over-the-top trailer below:
