The newest entry to the drug-fueled animal attack micro-genre will be “Crackcoon!” For those of you keeping score, this means we have a bear and shark on cocaine, a gator on meth, and now a raccoon…well we aren’t 100% sure yet.

“Crackcoon” will revolve around the dealer of a new synthetically-altered street drug. During a car chase with the police, he tosses a bag of the new drug out the window into some woods. From there we see it roll down a hill for a fuzzy little raccoon to find. After he eats the substance the trash panda transforms into a “nightmarish killing machine straight from the bowels of hell.” And with campers, tourists, and mountain community residents nearby, this cute critter will have plenty of victims to choose from.
The script for “Crackcoon” is co-written by Todd Martin (“Shriekshow”) and Gary Lee Vincent (“Faded Memories”). Vincent will also be acting in and producing the film. Brad Twigg (“Milfs vs. Zombies”) will be in the director’s chair, as well as producing.
It also looks like the same team are working on the upcoming movie “Crackodile.” Which, according to the tagline, will be about a crocodile on crack. While very little information is known beyond that, we’re guessing it will follow a similar formula to the rest of the films in this genre.

The cast for “Crackcoon” includes Jessa Flux (“Space Babes from Outer Space”), Niko El Santo Zavero (“Amityville Karen”), Angel Nichole Bradford (“Martian Massacre”), Morrigan Thompson (“The Curse of Lilith Ratchet”), Michael Ochotorena (“Born Into a Dream”), John A. Russo (“Killer Campout”), and Chris O’Brocki (“WrestleMassacre”).
Production is scheduled to wrap in early June, and Fuzzy Monkey Films are still taking contributions for finishing funds, here. No release date has been set, but worldwide distribution is currently slated for late 2023. We’ll keep you posted on updates about this and other drugged-out animal attack movies.
