Dust Devils form when there’s light wind on a hot day, usually only forming for a few minutes before dissipating on its own. It’s scary if you’re caught in one because your field of vision becomes limited and you really can’t tell what’s going on. Wind speeds can reach up to 60mph and can lift small structures into the air. They’re contributing this event to the 102F weather that day.
