Even though “Fast X” has yet to hit theaters, there are already plans for the 11th film in the franchise. Christina Hodson (“The Flash,” “Birds of Prey”) along with Oren Uziel (“The Cloverfield Paradox”) will co-write the final “Fast Saga” film together. This eleventh film will be ending a 20-year run of titles starring Vin Diesel and other heavy hitters like Dwayne Johnson and Michelle Rodriguez.

There hasn’t been the best track record when it comes to writers staying on the project. Justin Lin, who was originally co-writing and directing, left the project. Louis Leterrier recently stepped in to replace him. Reports indicated Lin had disagreements with Diesel.
This final movie is supposed to be the end of the series, but we’ll see. We half expect them to say “Just Kidding,” here’s to 9 more films, making it an even 20.
“Fast X” arrives in theaters May 19th. “The Flash” hits theaters June 16th.
