Also, with Crypto, you can get seamless transactions within no time. This leads to hassle-free transactions to any part of the globe with minimum effort! Considering this, many brands are accepting Cryptos as their payment option these days.

Even Dubai’s University, CUD is embracing this payment option to make the systems easier for their students! Read this blog to find out more!

Dubai’s University Will Now Accept Cryptocurrency

The CUD or the Canadian University of Dubai is all set to accept Cryptocurrency as payments for their fees. To maintain these transactions, the University has come into a partnership with Binance.

The University will now let their students pay in different kinds of Cryptocurrency like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and others. Students will now get the ease of paying their fees with the help of Cryptos!

With the help of this partnership, Binance, which is the top Crypto exchange, will now get a chance to integrate with the local ecosystem. This will help the firm to learn more about the market here and merge with the systems.

Now You Can Settle The Semesters With Crypto

Binance, which is the leading Crypto exchange in this market has come into a partnership with CUD. The firm announced this partnership on Twitter.

Binance shares that current and upcoming students of the University can pay their fees with Crypto. You can settle all your education costs with these digital currencies. Rather than depositing fiats and having stress over depositing the fee amount, you can now opt for seamless transactions with Crypto.

Binance shared the news of their partnership on their Twitter account. The firm says that Binance will help in bringing Cryptocurrency to the foremost university of Dubai. The students can now and in the future, pay all the fees related to this University via Cryptos.

Which Coins Will This System Support?

With this partnership, both parties will be able to be profitable. As Binance will get more users and also the students will be able to use Crypto rather than fiats. The students can pay their fees through Binance Pay, as it is powering this initiative.

Binance Pay is capable of supporting more than 70 Cryptos. These include BTC, ETH, LTC, DOGE, XRP, and others. Besides that, you can even find stablecoins like USDC and  USDT.

    A Glimpse Of CUD

This university was established back in 2006 and its education system is based on the curriculum of North American nations. Around 1200 students are enrolled in this university and are distributed among 4 faculties.

With this partnership, the students will receive the benefits to pay their education fees with Cryptos!

    Strengthening Its Position In Dubai

Last year, in September, Binance received an MVP license from VARA. After receiving this license, the position of Binance became stronger. It allowed the firm to start operating in the region.

Also, the firm received operating power and offered services to qualified and institutional in this region. Apart from that, Crypto.com, the biggest competitor of Binance, received approval to operate in the region. Besides that, even FTX was allowed to set up headquarters in the region.

    Ban On Private Coin

Dubai is quite ambitious and open to Crypto trading. It has the aim of becoming a center of Cryptocurrency and digital assets. But, the region is also imposing bans on certain privacy coins like that of XMC and ZEC.

Besides that, there are certain requirements as per the VARA, that the firms need to pass. These tests are preventing anti-money laundering activities, insider trading, any kind of illicit activities, and others.

    Conclusion

Dubai is quite ambitious when it comes to Crypto and digital assets. And, this integration of Binance with CUD, will make this relationship between the both.

Despite that, Dubai has certain limitations when it comes to Cryptocurrency and other digital assets. The firms can operate in the region when they pass through these principles.
