Actor Arty Froushan, known for his role as the Chancellor Jonah Breakspear in Prime Video’s “Carnival Row,” has been confirmed to have joined the cast of Marvel Studios’ “Daredevil: Born Again.” Froushan has landed a “major role” in the series, playing a character named Harry. He is labeled as a main player and an associate of crime boss Wilson Fisk. Harry launches a campaign to be elected as the mayor of New York in the series.

Froushan will be joining returning stars Vincent D’Onofrio and Charlie Cox, who play Wilson Fisk/Kingpin and Matt Murdock/Daredevil, respectively. Cox previously played the character in “Marvel’s Daredevil,” and “Marvel’s Defenders” for Netflix. He returned as Daredevil in Marvel Studios‘ “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” and “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.“

D’Onofrio reprised his role as Wilson Fisk in Disney+’s “Hawkeye.”

The previously announced cast also includes Sandrine Holt as Vanessa Fisk, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/The Punisher, Michael Gandolfini (“The Many Saints of Newark”), Margarita Levieva (“The Deuce“), Nikki M. James (“Severance“), and Michael Gaston (“Prison Break“), in undisclosed roles.

Matt Corman (“Covert Affairs“) and Chris Ord (“The Enemy Within“) are the writers and executive producers of the series. Kevin Feige and Louis D’Esposito are serving as executive producers for Marvel Studios.

D’Onofrio teased the series will be “very, very different” from the Netflix show, and promised “gigantic payoffs” for fans in the second season. The 18-episode series order is expected to be split into two, nine-episode seasons. “Daredevil: Born Again” is slated to premiere on Disney+ some time in 2024.
