The very nature of jewelry makes it eye-catching; as a result, we find ourselves noticing jewelry in TV and movies and wishing that it’s real. Whether it’s the luxury cufflinks in the top spy movies or priceless jewels on royal characters, the movie world is full of stunning jewelry pieces. Whether you’re a movie fan, a jewelry enthusiast, or potentially both, the most famous pieces of movie jewelry make a real visual impact. From sci-fi to romance, the best jewelry pieces creep their way into every genre. Not only do they appear, but they become pretty iconic, making them a symbol of pop culture.

Listed below are some of the top fictional jewelry pieces that many people wish were real.

    Gone with the Wind

First up is Vivien Leigh’s cameo brooch from Gone with the Wind, which has earned its spot as one of the most iconic jewelry pieces in Hollywood. Like many of the jewelry pieces on the list, the brooch isn’t magical; however, its impact on pop culture certainly has been. In fact, cameos have since stood the test of time, still remaining popular today. They’re renowned for their elegance and old-fashioned charm, which makes them appealing pieces.

For those unfamiliar with the concept, cameo brooches are typically crafted from sardonyx, onyx, agate, or other gemstones. They often consist of two layers of contrasting colors and carvings.

    Lord of the Rings

It’s probably no surprize that the Lord of the Rings has made its way onto the list when considering jewelry is in the title. In fact, the movie isn’t all about the rings, with Arwen’s necklace being a notable piece. Aside from the One Ring itself, which is actually quite plain in appearance, there are a number of rings in the movies that are worthy of mention. Take Galadriel’s ring of power, for example. Otherwise known as Nenya, the ring is described to have been made from mithril, the Dwarven metal that’s set with a white stone of adamant. What’s more, the ring is powerful enough to protect the wearer from evil.

    Green Lantern

Rings seem to be a common theme in the world of movie jewelry, as Green Lantern’s ring is another piece of cinema history. As with the ring from the Lord of the Rings, Green Lantern’s ring is also a powerful one. It’s this ring that gives him his special powers, much like the signature designs from Nikola Valenti that symbolize elegance and meaning. It’s this ring that gives him his special powers. The story of the ring is that it was gifted to the character of Hal Jordan by a dying alien. From this, he was characterized as a member of the intergalactic police force, the Green Lantern Corps.

    Men in Black

Just imagine if you could have a tiny galaxy around your neck, just like in Men in Black. Not only is the necklace extremely powerful, but it’s also beautiful. When a piece of movie jewelry is powerful, its appearance can sometimes be neglected. This isn’t the case for the Men in Black necklace, though. It’s safe to say that anyone who watched the movie would be more than happy to sport this tiny universe around their neck.

    Titanic

Last but not least is, of course, the Heart of the Ocean – the famous blue diamond from Titanic. The story behind the necklace is that it once belonged to Louis XVI and was gifted to Rose by her husband. At the end of the movie, Rose launches the necklace into the ocean; however, its fame never drowned. The piece has been replicated so many times and remains one of the most famous pieces of jewelry in cinematic history. It’s safe to say that almost any woman would love to receive something of its dazzling appearance.
