If you love Knott’s Berry Farm, you’ll want to check out the extra delicious sweet treats they offer during the Boysenberry Festival. Sample all kinds of jams, jellies and more!

Walter Knott changed the history of the city of Buena Park when he mixed together a loganberry, blueberry, and raspberry to create the boysenberry flavor. It’s been a staple of Knott’s Berry Farm ever since. Each year, the park honors his invention with the annual Boysenberry Festival.

    Berry Unique Eats and Treats

The main event at the Boysenberry Festival are all the unique foods that you can try. You’ll find them at the festival booths and restaurants throughout the park. The chefs at Knott’s make it their job to test the limits of flavor. From traditionally savory items to sweets, or even cocktails and beers, the boysenberry works well with flavors across the board. Some new food offerings are cauliflower bites, sushi burritos, sweet corn nuggets, bread pudding, waffles, and more.

    Special Boysenberry Themed Merchandise

During the festival, you’ll find a multitude of artisan craft booths set up throughout Ghost Town for your shopping pleasure. Each booth will be selling their very own handmade boysenberry-themed items. Other unique crafts for you to take home and remember your trip to Buena Park by as well.

    Exclusive Character Experiences

You never know who you might run into at the Knott’s Boysenberry Festival. You can hug your favorite Peanuts characters like Snoopy and Charlie Brown, along with many others. You might even run into Whittles, the jolly prospector of Ghost Town first introduced to the park in 1973.

    Entertainment

There’s never a dull moment at the Boysenberry Festival, with entertainment scheduled throughout each day. There are several stages throughout the park including the Calico Mine Stage, Boardwalk BBQ patio, the Bird Cage Theatre, and others. Each will welcome special musical guests during the day and into the night. The Riverboat Revenge will take the stage at the Bird Cage Theatre with a comedic performance.

    Passes & Discounted Tickets

Save and purchase discounted tickets ahead of time to Knott’s Berry Farm. Single day tickets purchased in advance online saves you up to $39 off of main gate pricing. Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel also offers packages that include park tickets, hotel stays, and dining options. It’s important to note that the Boysenberry Festival does not require additional admission and is included with your ticket! Food tastings and beverages are at an additional cost. And if you’re considering getting a pass to Knott’s for the year now is a good time to do it. Enjoy your time while kids are still in school during the day before the summer rush and take your time to see the sights and ride the rides.

A tasting card at the Boysenberry Festival can be purchased for a flat rate of $55. That includes six tabs that are transferable for tastings at each of the festival booths. These tabs can be used on food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Items can also be purchased a la carte without a tasting card.

You’ll be able to experience all this and more! The event runs March 10th-April 16th, 2023.
