You’re never too young to start liking “Star Wars.” That seems to be Disney’s mentality as a new series designed for pre-schoolers is coming later this year. “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” with bring science fantasy adventures to younglings across the galaxy far, far away.
The series will follow a Jedi quartet of Kai Brightstar (Jamaal Avery Jr.), Lys Solay (Juliet Donenfeld), Nubs (Dee Bradley Baker), and Nash Durango (Emma Berman) with droid companion RJ-83 (Jonathan Lipow) as Master Yoda (Piotr Michael) teaches them the values of being Jedi. More than likely these life lessons will be easy to understand, but hopefully enjoyable for any parent who’s a fan.

James Waugh, Executive Producer and Senior Vice President of Franchise Content & Strategy at Lucasfilm, sent a hopeful message for the future of the series and the legacy of the franchise. “Star Wars transcends generations; fans of all ages deeply connect with its imaginative worlds, mythic stories, and unique characters,” Waugh said. “The creative team never stopped thinking about how this show may be a ‘youngling’s’ first step into a larger world and their first time experiencing the limitless potential of the ‘Star Wars’ galaxy. The show’s characters, tone, and the life lessons woven throughout each episode were written just for them, and our talented team was committed to honoring the cinematic legacy while staying true to the expectations of parents for the youngest of audiences.”
Meet the team ahead of the show with “Young Jedi Adventure” books! The series premiers May the 4th, aka “Star Wars” Day, on both Disney+ and Disney Junior.
