STARZ Releases First Look at “Outlander” Season 7

Season 7 of STARZ’s wildly popular “Outlander” series is on its way. Based on the romance novels by Diana Gabaldon, it has become wildly popular as a television series. Starring Caitríona Balfe as Claire Frasier and Sam Heughan as Jamie Fraser, the seasons have taken us from the end of WWII, to the 18th century Scotland, to early colonial America.

The series follows the Frasier family, with Claire’s knowledge of future events coming into play and does her best to keep her family and lover safe.

Highly anticipated since the COVID-19 pandemic caused a shortening of season 6, which was based on “A Breath of Snow and Ashes,” season 7 will cover the 7th novel, “An Echo In The Bone,” with bits of book 6 tagging along.

With high production values for both location and costuming, fans of historical fiction and romance find common ground. Unlike some other series, there’s a concentrated effort to get the accuracy of fashion, buildings, and technologies correct. All for the purpose of immersing the audience in this world in which time travel is possible through mystical stones and portals.

Series creator Ronald D. Moore and executive producer Matthew Roberts are working on a prequel series about Jamie’s parents, which we hear will have some big updates soon.

Season 7 is set to hit sometime in the summer of 2023. Check out the tease now:
