In celebration of The Game Awards, Steam Deck now being in stock, and gaming in general, producer Valve has announce that they will be giving away one 512GB Steam Deck every minute during the live airing of the The Game Awards on December 8th.

The rules of the giveaway are pretty simple. You must register to enter the drawing and be watching The Game Awards on Steam to be eligible to win. To register, you must be in the US, Canada, UK, or the EU and have made purchase on Steam between November 14th, 2021 and November 14th, 2022. This purchase is used to verify that you live in one of the qualifying countries. On December 8th, when The Game Awards air on https://steam.tv, a random name will be drawn from the pool of registrants currently watching the show on Steam every minute.

That’s it. All Registrants will also receive an exclusive animated Steam Pal digital sticker. You obviously need to be in good standing and can’t have an account that has already been limited for spams, scams, or phishing-ams, but that means most of you reading this already qualify. So remember to head over to the Game Awards stream on December 8th and see if you’ll be one of the lucky viewers to walk home with a Steam Deck. Since the awards generally go about two and half hours, that means 150 free Steam Decks are up for grabs. Talk about an early holiday gift!
