Know how cats sometimes like to hang out in your suitcase when you’re trying to pack for a trip? Sure, it’s adorable and memeworthy most of the time. But what happens if good ol Whiskers or Mittens somehow makes it into your roller bag? Well, on November 16th at JFK International Airport, a TSA agent found a cat inside a passenger’s luggage.
The cat was unharmed!
It wasn’t the passenger’s pet, but belonged to someone they lived with. Once the the animal was discovered, it was returned back to the owner. It’s very likely that the person packing the bag never considered the cat was in there. Especially since it was confirmed the passenger was not the owner. If you’re traveling and live with people with pets, please check your luggage before trying to zip up a sweet ball of fur.
