We’ve known for sometime the upcoming“Star Wars: The Tales of the Jedi” animated series would feature Yaddle, ‘female Yoda’ character seen on the Jedi High Council in the prequels. What didn’t know what who would be voicing the Jedi Master.

Turns out it’s “Jurassic World” star Bryce Dallas Howard! Bryce Dallas, daughter of famed actor-turned-filmmaker Ron Howard, cut her teeth behind the camera on the award-winning documentary film “Dads.” (Which is adorable, and available to stream on AppleTV+.)
Maybe we’ll finally find out what specis Yoda, Yaddle, and Baby Yoda actually are.
Howard directed two episodes of Disney+’s live-action series “The Mandalorian,” and one episode of “The Book of Boba Fett.” She also made the announcement of the casting news herself.
“Tales of the Jedi” premieres on Disney+ Wednesday, October 26th. Which is also when the next episode of the criminally underrated “Andor” hits as well.
