HBO’s “Succession,” the show that gives you anxiety and everyone treats each other terribly, is returning for a 4th season. The show’s heavy hitters will be returning; Brian Cox as Logan Roy, Jeremy Strong as Kendall, Sarah Snook as Siobhan, Kieran Culkin as Roman, and Alan Ruck as Connor.
Season 4 will also see Matthew Macfadyen, Nicholas Braun, J. Smith-Cameron, Peter Friedman, David Rasche, Fisher Stevens, Hiam Abbass, Justine Lupe, Scott Nicholson, Zoë Winters, and Jeannie Berlin join the drama.
“The sale of media conglomerate Waystar Royco to tech visionary Lukas Matsson moves ever closer,” The official logline for “Succession” season 4 reads. “The prospect of this seismic sale provokes existential angst and familial division among the Roys as they anticipate what their lives will look like once the deal is completed. A power struggle ensues as the family weighs up a future where their cultural and political weight is severely curtailed.”
No matter what team you’re on when watching, there’s no denying pretty much everyone in the Roy family is trash. And sometimes shows like this make us feel a little bit better about ourselves.
Seasons 1-3 of “Succession” are streaming on HBO Max. Season 4 will premiere sometime in the spring of 2023.
